Jeff joined Northwestern Mutual in 1998 after graduating from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and completing an internship with Ameriprise Financial. He specializes in business planning for closely held and family-owned businesses, income distribution and tax efficient strategies for retirement, trust and coordination of benefits for families with children with special needs, planning with executive compensation and stock options, and tactical and time-weighted asset allocation strategies.
In 2002 Jeff was one of the youngest ever to be appointed Managing Director at Northwestern Mutual, and in 2016 he served as the President of the Managing Directors Association. He is also very involved with the University of Minnesota as a board member of the M Health Fairview Cancer Philanthropic Board and the Corporate Committee Board for The Masonic Children’s Hospital.
He and his family reside in Afton. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, working out, boating, and creating memories with family and friends at their lake home in Northern Wisconsin.
